Mothers Against Drunk Driving

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) was founded in 1980 to reduce traffic fatalities caused by drunk drivers. However, it appears that prohibitionist beliefs in the organization have gained influence and MADD has now largely become anti-alcohol rather than anti-drunk-driving.
